At the very beginning of our design and development process, there was one watch that seemed to be different from the rest. It sat there, fourth in line after the Don, the Rover, and the Powerslave. We liked it. So we called it The Small No.4 and we still do. The crystal is extra thick (over 3.3mm, to be exact) and it is made from scratch resistant hardened mineral crystal. Like other Nixon watches, the Super Rover is built on a platform of water and shock resistancy. It has a raised bezel so the crystal, already made with over 3.3mm thick scratch resistant hardened mineral, is further protected by a ridge of stainless steel. What makes the Super Rover special is the movement and the case construction. The Super Rover has a three sub-dial chronograph movement that measures hours, minutes, seconds and 1/10ths of a second.
